Shiatsu is a gentle and mindful form of  body work. It offers a safe space for you to unwind and simply be.
Here, you have time and space to breathe, release, and gently reconnect with yourself.

What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese form of bodywork rooted in the understanding that our life energy can be supported and balanced through mindful touch and gentle movement.

 

Using soft pressure, stretches, and mindful contact, Shiatsu helps harmonize the natural flow of energy throughout your body.

 

Its effect is holistic — nurturing your body, mind, and soul.


Shiatsu calms your nervous system, supports deep relaxation and regeneration.



What happens in a Shiatsu treatment?

The Shiatsu treatment takes place on a soft mat on the floor,  creating a grounded and nurturing environment.

 

You remain fully clothed and can enjoy the session in loose, comfortable garments and your favourite socks.

 

Before we begin, we take a moment to tune in to your needs: Are you seeking deep relaxation, support with physical discomfort, or a greater sense of connection with yourself?

Together, we shape the session to meet you where you are just now.

 

During the treatment, you lie comfortably on the mat while gentle pressure, mindful stretches, and attentive touch help you gradually release tension. Your body can soften and sink into a deeply restorative state of relaxation. This supports your regeneration, and a natural re-balancing of your system.

 

We close the session with a gentle moment, allowing you to feel and integrate the effects.

I´m Kerstin,

 

a GSD*-certified Shiatsu Practitioner,

trauma-sensitive Psychologist (BSc) and Coach.

 

My work is guided by a simple mission:
to create space of peace, relaxation, and genuine connection for you.

 

I support you in sensing yourself more clearly, coming back into contact with your body, and meeting yourself with greater kindness and presence.

 

For me, Shiatsu is a beautiful way of being in touch — calm, mindful and attentive.It offers a gentle invitation to slow down, breathe, and connect with yourself.

I offer treatments in English and German.
